What Clients Said About Vidushi

Todays session was very interesting and learnt quite a lot about myself just talking about one experience to other and uncover and know how and why it happens and how to combat it . Vidushi is able to redirect and is spot on in identifying things that even I don’t understand abt myself . So grateful for her session today.

It was a well executed and conducted session .I really like the way counsellor helped me to navigate, and was able to give rationals behind most of the things communicated by me .Most of the strategies suggested seems to be in tandem with what I am looking for .Looking forward to the next session .

About Me

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

The field of psychology has continued to intrigue me since I was in 10th grade. Since then, I have been in awe of how much the human mind has yet to discover. After years of education and reading, I learned that we all have a state of regulation where our thoughts and emotions are at peace. I believe that therapy is about finding and maintaining that balance.

With a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Noida, I have also interned at several hospitals and clinics that have helped me learn client care better. I prefer working with evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapy, and other such approaches that are aimed at providing tangible results.

In my understanding, therapy must work around four components: catharsis, assessment, psycho-education, and tools. I work towards delivering the aforementioned to my clients to the best of my abilities. My goal is to provide these to as many people as I can and contribute substaintially to the mental health field.
